Question on ILR eligibilty

Hi,

My dates for caculation of ILR are as follows:
Tier 1 Visa Start Date: 3rd july 2010
Date of first entry to UK: 21st Aug 2010
Visa validity till : 9th May 2015 (shortfall as I had applied for my 1st extension 6 months early)

Whether my ILR qualifying period starts from 22nd July 2015 or 5th June 2015? Because if it's 5th June 2015 then it would be easier for me to apply for 2nd extension around 8th May 2015 via post and then vary may application after 5th June 2015 (Based on the assumption that I would not get the 2nd extension approval before 5th June)?

The reason I am asking this question so much in advance is because at the moment I have sufficient points to apply for another extension. So if I apply for another extension now then I would be getting the 2nd extension till 2017 and I would be able to apply for ILR anytime after 22nd July 2015. But obviously this would cost a lot of money for an additional extension.

Please advice.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Count your 5 years (minus 28 days) from 3rd july 2010 as your 1st entry is within 90 days if visa stamp date.

Thanks UKBALoveStory for your quick response. 3rd July 2015 minus 28 days takes me to 6th June 2015. So that means I have two options:
1. Apply for Tier 1 extension on 8th May 2015 and vary my extension application to ILR after 6th June provided the outcome of extension application is not decided by then
Or
2. Apply for ILR on 8th May 2015 and by the time a decision is taken on ILR I would be within the qualifying period

But my question on option 2 is will it be considered a valid application as I would have applied for ILR before reaching my qualifying period?

Thanks,

Another question to ask here:

If the ILR gets rejected (hope not) without an option for appeal, are we eligible to apply for extension under Tier -1 (General)

My case is similar, I am eligible for ILR on 30th May but my current visa expires on 14th March...hence need suggestions
