There is a gap of 2 months between the appeal date and these additional grounds i want to include happens. What can i do to buy time? pls advice.

you can request to adjourn the hearing atleast 48 hrs before hearing date.on some reason like medical reason.
i did it because my father had some medical problem back home and i request them by email to give me some time as i was not prepared for arguments(representing myself in tribunal).and they adjourned the hearing for 3 weeks.
also after hearing it takes some time for decision to come.and in case if ur case goes to upper tribunal then you will easily complete remaining time.
if first tribunal allows ur appeal then there is a chance that HO will take some time to make new decision/visa.during this time if its completing ur 2 months u can request for additional grounds before u receive ur reply.
