ILR - Advice needed
Posted: Fri Jan 03, 2014 1:41 am
Hi All,
I have read different topics related to ILR and hope I will get an advice to help me decide when should I be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.
- Tier 1 (General) visa was granted on 26/01/2009
- Arrived in UK on 26/04/2009 (Exactly three month)
- My Tier 1 visa is valid till 03/04/2014
I have following queries related to my ILR case:
1. Whether I should be able to take three months concession and apply for ILR after 26/01/2014 (Five years after the first granted date of Tier 1 visa).
Or
2. The earliest date I can apply for ILR will be 03/04/2014 - 28 days
Or
Both of the above are not possible and I have to apply for extension in order to complete five years taking into consideration date of arrival in UK and validity of my current visa. If date of arrival is taken into consideration then I am left with 23 days in order to complete five years
I would appreciate if someone can advice on above matter.
Best regards
FKHAN
