Change jobs tier 2 impact on ILR

Couldn't find this specific answer so created a new post. I've been on the Tier 2 (General) since Dec 2011 which is sponsored by Company X. So I've completed 2 years now. If I change jobs and join Company Y (due to a promotion / pay rise) and the new company Y also hires me on a Tier 2 (General) and there is only a short break in employment - let's say 10 days. Does the changing of sponsor reset my 5 year counter to ILR or will I only have 3 years to go?
