applying ILR with driving points

I am due for ILR application under Tier 1 General this year May, I had conviction in 2010 and fined £200 and 3 points on driving licence which is started in Sept 2010. Would this affect my Indefinite Leave to remain application?

I intend to disclose this in my application form. I heard that 'there shouldn't be any spent in last 24 months' which is already finished. But driving points will finish in 4 years (Sept 2014). Is driving points effect my application?

Please suggest.

You should be fine as 24 months has lapsed, declare it as a conviction.

same thing happen to my husband he got penality ticket due to tyres low pressure while driving . we send our counterpart for point endorsement within week and pay the charge . then we find after a month that the counterpart is wrong one so they gave court date .its our bad luck we don't know that we have two counterparts one is for the lost driving licence .from court we got 3 point and 300 fine paid same day .this all happened in January 2013 we applied for ilr in aug 13 got ilr in dec 13 .we do mention this in form and also attach court letter and criminal record check certificate .hope this helps
