Child born in UK - ILR or Naturalisation

Hello boarders,

We are a family of 4 and I am planning to apply for ILR in a couple of months. My son is born here in the UK and he is also having Tier1 G dependant visa. Now, my question is, when we go for ILR should I include my son as well for ILR application or should we exclude him in the ILR application and go for naturalisation? I believe, if the parents were granted ILR the kids (born in UK) are eligible for naturalisation.

I know there are other similar queries in this borad but please note that my son already has a dependent visa (BRP). So, it is ok to exclude him in the ILR application.. I am sure UKBA's database will show a dependent visa not being addressed. This makes me a little worried.

Any inputs in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
-Ismail

Yes he can be excluded providing you don't plan to travel before the child is registered as British.
