ILR - PEO for 3 members, MN1 for child

Hi,
My son was born in the UK in 2011. I am now going to apply for ILR in March. Our current leave expires in May but we become eligible for IRL in March end. Is it possible that I book a PEO appointment for myself and wife and our application being quite straight foward, we are hopeful of getting a positive decision the same day (if we get an appointment of course). Is it ok in such a scenario to apply for my UK born son after our Successful PEO IRL applointment. His BRP is currently valid till May as well like us so there is ample time to receive our own letter confirming our IRL and new BRPs. Just wanted some advice if we are going to do the right thing (as it saves us money of course to first pay for our UK born son to get ILR and then apply for his naturalization application along with us). In this case, as soon as we get our IRL confirmation, we can directly apply for his registration as BC using MN1 form and he becomes a british citizen and then we can apply for his British Passport. I hope there is no legality involved in this case and that the case worker who looks at our application is not going to ask question about the UK born child who obviously had a dependant visa and we wont be making his application at the same time as ours.
Regards,
