Dear users,

I am a migrant worker currently working in the UK on ILR. (ILR was issued to me in Aug 2013). My wife who is in India (has never traveled to the UK) is holding a Tier 2 Dependent Visa (issued in Jul 2013) valid until Jun 2015. Just would like to know if her visa will be still valid to enter the UK as I have now changed my status from Tier 2 to ILR?

Thank-you in advance for your advise

Deepu

Yes as you applied for ILR as a PBS dep, she should return before the leave expires and extend as a PBS dep.

Hi Amber
Thank-you for your kind response. Can you kindly confirm once my understanding is correct in that, she doesn't have to switch to ILR dependent but can enter into the UK as PBS dependent (which is her current status) and extend as PBS dependent itself until she qualifies for ILR ?

Thank-you in advance

Deepu

Yes if you were granted ILR as a PBS applicant.
