Hi

I am applying for my wife's settlement dependant visa (FLR-M) in 2 days and need urgent advice. We got married about 6 months back and our marriage certificate was issue by the Church of North India under the "Indian Christian Marriage Act 1872". I havent registered with the government as the Church pastor is a licensed registrar. Would this certificate be sufficient proof of marriage.

Is there anyone whose application was rejected or accepted with this ceritificate?

Thanks and would appreciate any replies or suggestions on this topic.

Why don't you register it with proper government body if you can to be on the safe side.
It will only take you couples of days. No experience here just a suggestion.
