Are these documents enough for co-habitation proof?
Hello,
I am going to apply for ILR under Tier-1 General Route (SET-O) on 21st March 2014 with 2 dependents (my wife and 6-year old son).
I had my last extension for family in March 2013 (1 year ago), so I have to proof co-habitation for 1 year, right? Or it will still be 2 years?
Now we have following documents as a proof and wants senior's response about are these enough?
Documents on both names:
-- Council Tax Bill
-- Electricity Bill
-- Water Bill
-- My Son's (single) school review letter
-- Last extension letter from UKBA (might not be needed)
-- Almost 4-years old house renting agreement (for old property)
On my wife's name only:
-- A surgery/NHS letter
-- Bank Statements
-- NI number letter and interview document
-- English language course registration letter from College
On my name only:
-- Bank Statements
-- House rent agreement (current property)
Are above documents enough to proof co-habitation Or needs some-more documents? Please suggest.
Thanks,
Fawad Lateef

You need cohabitation proof for 2 years.
They should cover the whole 2 year, ideally every couple of months. If in both names, at least 6 letter (at least a letter every 4 month). If in separate names, at least 12 letters. If mixed, then between 6 to 12. But my guess is the more the better. I provided in total 25 letters.
One more thing, the letters need to be from at least 3 different sources. The best are: NHS letters, letters from government related such as council tax, utility bill, bank statement etc.

Thanks for replying. So above mentioned documents are enough as a proof?

Also for full 2 years or 1 year this is what I read in SET(O) form Section 11A:
"If you have a spouse or civil partner listed in section 2 of this application form who is applying at the same
time as you,
please provide documentary evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (up to a
maximum of two years). Evidence provided should cover the whole period and be in the form of official letters
or documents, addressed to yourself and your spouse."
