Hello all Gurus,

We're applying for my wife's ILR. I'm a british citizen and my wife's got US masters degree and was working in a mortgage company in the US. Do we need to apply for NARIC letter to show its equivalent to UK degree...? because this degree certificate was used when we applied for her FLR (spouse visa) and at that time the requirement was still the same. so I just assumed that the degree certificate is sufficient enough to prove her english skills.

PS. she already have passed her life in uk test.

As always your help is much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Not if she is a US citizen. English requirement is only for people who are not from a majority English speaking country.

I just don't know why they have accepted her degree when we applied for her FLR (Spouse visa) I know that
there was same requirement as it is now for level of english language skills.

Many thanks guys.

If the degree is taught in English, she should be fine to meet the requirement.
