Hi All,

I am on Tier 1 general visa(valid from June 1st 2010), came to UK on 27th June 2010.
I went for my 1st extension in 2013 and got 2 years Visa until 1st June 2015.

My ILR in due by June 2015.I would like to know the absences period as per new rule.

Since, I am out of country for 192 days as of now. Below details gives the information on my absence.

Date of Travel No. of days absence
Nov 2011 to Jan 2012 = 88
April 2012 = 12
August 2012 = 10
Nov-Dec 2012 = 9
Feb 2013 = 17
June-August 2013 = 42
Dec-Jan 2013/14 = 11
Feb 2014 = 3

Out of 192 days, the first 88 days are unpaid leaves(as I went for my marriage). Remaining are paid leaves and few are on business trips.

I may go on another short business trips this year as well.
I have letters from my employer for those business trips.

I am concerned on continuous 88 days trip.
Do i am eligible for ILR in June 2015 or else shall I need to go for another extension.

Please advise me.

Thanks in Advance

@Swetha:
Welcome to the forum!
Firstly, in order to gain fair understanding of your position, take some time in reading queries which are similar to your post.
as per the current rules, you need to prepare the start and end date of each of the 5 year period, and then calculate absence dates in each year. In each year, the abscence should not exceed >180 days.
Also, June 2015 is bit longer time period, no one knows what will be the new rule at that time.
But do watch and share in the forum, it will help you in preparing your application as well as for others as well.
All the Best.
