ILR Dependent Continuous Period

Dear All,
I got my ILR Confirmation in last week on my T1 general... and got my bio-metric card delivered in 2 days.
Now I'm planning to apply ILR for my wife...
We were together in UK for more than 3 years 9 months so far after she came to UK in August' 2010 but in between she has been to India for around 225 days after we have a baby born here in London.
Can someone please let me know whether the continuous period applies to the dependents or not?
