Hi There,

We had a baby in 2013 and I was off from work on paternity leave for 2 weeks and it was all paid.

As I can see on the form at 5.7 and 5.8 section , it says to produce a letter or show a proof.

Should I just attach child birth certificate to show the proof or should I produce a letter from employer confirming that I was on paternity leave for 2 weeks and it was paid leave ?

Can anyone please confirm.

I hate UKBA for asking these stupid questions which has nothing to do!!

You dont have to provide any documents for Paternity leave,ignore that.

I thought who were on Paternity Leave they should fill this ?

Any logical reason for not filling this section ?

just get a letter from your employer saying you took paternity leave from this date to that date.

If you were not out of UK during that period just ignore.
