Can I apply 2 days earlier than the 28 days?

Hi

Has anyone any experience of applying at the PEO, earlier than the earliest recommended 28 days before visa expiry for ILR?

I wanted to book for 2 days prior, would that be too much of a risk?

Thanks

It will be refused.

When were you granted EC and when did you enter the UK?

Many thanks Amber.

EC and entrance dates are not really relevant here :-). I have been in the UK for over 10 years but applying on the basis of my latest Tier 1 (General) category as I have dependants (wife and son) and so she could go with me. Will omit my son as he could apply for passport directly after we get ILR.

I was only asking as I saw a date time very convenient for me but is 2 days prior to my eligibility date though. Will keep looking.

Could I please also ask. Do you/anyone know if we could take our 2 year old son (not an applicant) with us to UKBA on the day? I could not find any information on this. Obiviously the other option would be a childminder.

Thanks

Well the risk will be, it will be refused straightaway. All the guidance notes clearly mentions it should not be even a day earlier then 28 days.

Yes, you can omit your son for ILR, but he cannot apply 'directly for a passport'. If born in the UK, registration on MN1 under section 1(3) first, then passport once registration certificate is received.
