I am trying to book a PEO appointment online for ILR and it is asking me to pay the feels in full.
can't we pay in person anymore? Do we have to make the payment online? do they refund the application fee if they find out later that we are not eligible ?

You have to pay when you book on line. If your application is refused because you are not eligible, fees are not refunded.
It is the applicants responsibility to ensure they meet all the requirements when applying.

Thank you.
Could you please tell me if I am eligible to apply for ILR? I came to the UK in April 2012 on tier 1 dependent visa.
So, does the 2 year rule or the 5 year rule apply to me?
If 2 years, should I use SET (O) application form? since I extended my stay as a PBS dependent in Nov 2012.
Really appreciate your help. Many thanks

Are you applying for ILR at the same time as your partner?? The rules are a bit different if your partner received ILR based on long residence.
See link below for Tier 1 dependents.

Set(O) is the correct form

Thank you for your reply.
Just a few details about my case.
My husband applied for ILR in nov 2012 on the basis of 5 year residency ( 2 year work permit + 3 year tier 1 ). He is a British citizen now
I extended my leave at in nov 2012 as a PBS dependent.
So am I eligible to apply for ILR now since i have completed 2 years in the UK?
Many thanks

I believe so yes, as you applied and entered before July 2012
Entry clearance application as PBS dependant submitted before 09-Jul-12: The PBS dependant will always be subject to rules in place before 09-Jul-12. The PBS dependant must have lived with the principal PBS migrant in the UK for at least 2 years in a marital relationship, civil partnership or in relationship akin to marriage or civil partnership (319E(d)(i))
