Dependent ILR Query ... Please resonse

Hello senior members,

I'm in UK on Tier-1 General Visa since Sep-2010 and will be going for my ILR next year Sep-2015.(Complete 5 years)

My dependents (wife and child) are never been in UK. Can you guide me What is more feasible in respect of getting Passport for my dependents,

1- If I go for their 1st time Tier-1 Dependent Visa now so they will be here in UK after visa get stamped. What will happen next year in Sep-15 when I'll put my ILR application then would my dependent apply for Extension Visa or ILR just like myself.

2- If I dont apply for the visa of my family now and wait for my ILR to be done and then apply for their Visa then what will happen, Should they will get normal Tier-1 visa (for 2/3 years) and then complte their 5 years period or get ILR quickly.

In simple words, What is the better approach 1 or 2 above OR it does not make any difference.

Thanks for your time and support.

If you are granted ILR as a PBS applicant (5 year route) then yes they may extend until they have 5 years as a PBS dep, they can extend even after your are granted ILR.
