ILR for spouse query

I have a British passport which I received in Jan 2012 after settling through HSMP and Tier 1 visa. I applied for Dependant visa for my wife after that in March and received it June 2012 before the July 2012 deadline for 2 years.
I will be applying for her ILR soon. I wanted to find out which form do I need to use SET O or SET M
When I go to www.gov.uk website, there is question "Did your family member or partner settle before they became a British citizen?". What do I enter here. Not sure what this means.
Also my wife's visa is valid till September 14. Can I apply for ILR aytime before this date. Or should it be after she completes 2 years?
