Hi,

I applied for PEO Croydon on 07--July--2014 and was successful.

Received my BRP today with:

Remarks - Indefinite Leave to Remain
Valid until : July-2024

I was expecting it to be indefinite validity.

I am not keen on getting British citizenship.

Any thoughts on this.

Thanks
G

This is an expiry date of BRP just like you have an expiry on your passport.

During the renewal time (i.e July 2024) , do we need to provide employment history??

Except few European nationals almost no one else waits 10 years to renew BRP which genuinely has no expiry date but authorities maybe giving a mere impression by that 10 years styled BRP that the holder is still subject to immigration control although he is not.
