Ilr long residence 10 yrs , have CCJ what to do Advice PLeas

I am going to apply for ilr 10 yrs on 5 th august. I have CCJ on my name in 2010. Do I have say yes for civil judgement question. I have contacted my creditor to start paying ,but they are saying it has been written off in July 2012. What should I do because it still showing on my credit report. Will it have bad affect on my application and my naturalisation.Please Advice ASAP. Thank you

Yes, declare under civil judgement, should be ok if paying.

Thanks Amber for you reply.

The creditor is saying you don't have to pay as it is been written off. Do I have to attach any document to show my debt is written off or just mention in the application form. Thanks

I will declare it . But do I have to send any proof to show My debt is written off . One friend told me I have to get discharge certificate from the court and attach to my application otherwise my application will be rejected. Please advice . Thanks

Your friend is mistaken. You may attach the letter, but remember where you've intentionally failed to pay debts may impact your citizenship application.
