Applying for ILR after 6 years DL - travelled back to Kosovo

Hi I have a friend from Kosovo who is about to apply for ILR on the basis of having two 3 year periods of discretionary leave. She has actually been in the UK since 1998. She had initially applied for asylum and was refused and then granted DLR under article 8 alone. She successfully applied for an extension without any problem a few years ago on an HPDL form and is now due to complete the DL form for settlement. I have read that she is still required to undergo an active review. Since her grant of DLR was not related to any need for protection but rather her family life, health concerns and amount of time she had spent in the UK I am wondering whether it will affect her application if she has been back to Kosovo in the past few years. Her mother became very sick so in order to visit her she applied for and obtained a Kosovan passportin January 2012. With this she has flown to Macedonia on a few occasions and then driven across the border to see her mother in Kosovo only for 2-3 weeks at a time.

My question is whether her obtaining a Kosovan passport and travelling there a few times since 2012 to see her sick mother (who she believed was dying) is going to affect her settlement application. The DL application specifically asks whether the person has applied for a passport from or travelled back to their own national country. I am sure this would affect her if her grant was based on a fear of persecution/harm, but it is not and is rather based on article 8 alone.

Please can you tell me whether there is any danger disclosing this information to the Home Office, and what would be advisable in this situation. Many thanks.

She got her ILR a few weeks ago, so was no problem with her obtaining a Kosovan passport and having travelled back a few times.
