Hi All,
I am going to apply ILR in 2 weeks. In last 5 years I worked in two organizations. 1st one for 1 year in 2010 and then from 2011 I am with same employer. in 2010 I came in Tier 1 own visa but came in secondment from one Indian IT company. Then after 9 months I left to Indian and get released from there. I am not able to get any absence letter from 1st employer. I have experience letter, salary slips (not authenticated as downloaded in one place before leaving), P60 for 2010. I have send the mail but they are not mentioning the dates in UK in the letter. What should I do now? Can I explain the same and mail copies along with passport stamp copy, salary slips, bank statement and P60 to prove.
Please reply and share your experience please
Received the absence letter from current employer properly for last 4 years
Thank you
MG

I have a similar problem, my employer was unable to provide the absence details so I asked them to give a letter stating that the absence records for ex-employees are not available in their HR system anymore. You can carry this letter and the payslips for the periods under question to prove that you were on paid holiday. So nothing to worry, you have done what you could.
I will be going for my ILR soon.

Keep in mind you only have to show absences which were out of the UK. So if you spent holidays inside UK, they dont need to be declared.
If your employer can't give you specific dates for absences, then ask them to verify your contractual annual holidays. Send this confirmation of annual holiday entitlement along with payslips.

Thank you for reply
I have all mail communication from my current official mail id to previous organisation's HR and last Reporting Manager. I drafted exactly what I need mentioning the dates confirmation. I have mail approval from previous manager copying HR guy. Even then HR is saying they don't issue such letter
Is the mail from Manager is enough to prove along with Payslips, bank statement and P60
Thanks
MG

For paid absences P60s salary slip and bank statement for that month is enough..

@moloyghatak : Just keep it simple , with respect to P60 if you are in Tier 1 general 5 year route it is not mandatory and regarding the absence letter if you are less than 180 days in any 12 months then you don't require, unless if there is any business trip, provided if you are opting for same day service... i have seen the forum member experience who has gone for PEO and they are under 180 days absence CW are least bothered to ask absence evidence from your old or current employer.. If you want to be safe , you can keep it with you if you get it don't submit unless they ask for evidence. Keep it simple and provide what they asked in the Application .....more simple it is more easier to assess your case by CW.
