Hi All,
I am going to apply for ILR in just 2 weeks time.
I am currently staying in UK with Tier 1 General Migrant visa and my wife is on my dependent visa from 1st day
What document do I need to prove for cohabitation
I have marriage registration certificate and council Tax for 2 years in joint name
What else do I need?
Thanks
MG

proof of cohabitation ideally spread over the 2 years, either in joint names or in each name. One joint letter (or one letter in each name) over a 4 month period from 3 different sources spread over the 2 years is the minimum requirement.
documents can be
Bank statements
NHS letter
Utility bills
NI letter
driving license
baby birth certificate
utility bills (gas electricity phone etc)
tenancy agreement
or any letter issued from government authorities

Hi All,
I have below documents with me. Please confirm me whether these are fine or not:
1. Original marriage registration certificate (I always used this as only proof from tier 1 application, extension)
2. Children Birth Certificate (baby was born in UK)
3. Council Tax Demand Notice in joint name (i.e. me and my wife's name are there)
4. Letter issued from council confirming our name and address in Electoral register
5. Previous Communication letter for all separately from Homeoffice after extension in same address
Thanks
MG
