hi, i am on tier1 general eligible to apply for ILR in FEB,2015
tier1 expires in march,2015.
i am with the same employer from jan,2010, paid fortnightly, with 28 days of paid annual leave..
But in MARCH/2010, my father was hospitalized with serious health problems..
so i went to my home country for 30 days.. i just informed the employer verbally about absence and did not apply for leave(unpaid)..
during that period (30 days), i am still on payroll , but with out pay.
does my 5 years continuous period was broken?
am i eligible to apply for ILR in feb/2015?
while going through the below link , i am bit confused..please advise..

The rules and guidance are so unclear and vague about this matter. Their replies in What Do They Know are not accurate in my view. But I guess your absence is classified as compassionate reason and so you can prepare related documents.

Can the OP confirm if they were asked about their unpaid absences or not?
