Hi,

I have just booked an appointment for my ILR application online. However, I have been told by a friend that I made a mistake while booking appointment online. There is a question on booking system " which category of leave are you applying for?" and there are 4 options available i.e. Tier 1 General, Tier 2, Other Main Applicant and Dependent. I have selected "Other Main Applicant" instead of Tier 1 General as my friend suggested.

Is this ok or do I need to cancel the current appointment and book again with the correct data? I dont seem to understand why do I need to select Tier 1 General whereas question itself says which category.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

PS - I am on Tier 1 General visa.

I think the appointment does say, its for Settlement, as you would have selected SET (O) form, so I guess it should be fine, but please do confirm. Thanks

How much amount do you get there to pay if you select "other main applicant"?

For ILR under tier 1 using set O form is £1493 if it is correct.

You can then figure out the difference?

I think the current fee for ILR through Tier1-G using SET(O) is £1093 and it is going to be £1500 from April 2015

For premium appointment it is £1493. Via postal application it is £1093.
