Hi Guys,

I have a interview today at 1pm as I have submitted my application for indefinite leave to remain.. Just wondering what kind of questions might be asked?? And how long might the interview last? And will they give an answer there and then?I tried searching but no luck..

I would really gratefull if someone could reply by then.

were you self employed during these 10 years? Did You applied for ILR by post or at PEO?

I was on a student visa for past 10 years, and applied through post via solicitor.

Have you got any adverse immigration history, have you used Toeic etc in the past? Please let us know what happens at the interview as it will be helpful to a lot of us. I hope you have prepared for it. Good luck.

Have u done toeic in the past? More likely it's about toeic

They ask u basic questions where did u heard, fee, test format etc.

I think it will kind of video conferance over the Skype.

Is it in Liverpool or in Manchester.

Please update once u have done the interview.

And let us know kind of questions they have asked u.

Be positive, I think interview will last only 10/15 mins

No i did city and guild, tht is what I reckon but not sure, these interviews hv only started about a year ago..

So cant find alot of material on it.

Will post once its over.

Thanks Nav786. It was exactly as you said.. It was a video conference and the guy asked if I did Toeic, i advised that it was actually City and Guild.

He asked about fees and where was it? And then in the end he asked if I wanted to ask him any questions. Asked hw long for the outcome. He advised he will just pass it on to the caseworker and they will be in touch. They didnt really advise hw long it is going to take.

Does anyone knows how long it might take after an interview.

Well you've asked this question from interviewer, if he can't answer how can anyone on the forum can, i must say it sounds like pretty useless exercise, makes you wait for a month just for 10 min worthless interview, i bet you must be missing your £400, you must have thoughts that your going to walkout like a king after spending just £400 extra... Nah brother, Luck is always bigger and worthier than £400.

Still waiting on the outcome since the first interview, and have been called for another interview at the same place. Just no idea what this is going to be like.

Any ideas guys? If someone has had one recently.
