Hi There,
I am a director of limited compnay from January 2011 and Got tier 1 visa in April 2011.
I have submitted SA returns for that period (Even though zero tax liability) and requested for SA 302 from HMRC
Today only It came as 0 from self employment and 0 from PAYE too. That means PAYE details not filled by mistake.
But i have requested Employment history too and it is showing my right employment history.
Can I show combination of SA 302 and Employment history to Home office for year 2011?
Or should i amend the SA 302 now?
Please advice

I have been a company director for my limted company during my initial application, extension and ilr a month ago. Never have I ever submitted SA302 as its not a mandatory document. As long as your taxes are paid correctly for the earnings threshold you should be fine with regards to self employment.
But regarding your PAYE as zero the gurus should be able to shed some light on it.

Correction from above thread: Got to know i have submitted zero returns for the year 2010-2011, but made mistake on declaring PAYE details.
I have PAYE history for year 2010-2011 from HMRC.
I submitted corrected paper returns again today. But HMRC says they might not process since it is out of 4 years window.
SO can i Show my current SA 302 + PAYE history to Home office now for year 2010-2011

Hi Krish,
You have filed your SA return than No problem at the time of ILR. I have missed the return 2011-2012 and I have filed it in Jan'16 end by post (Its Zero Tax). I didnot receive the updated SA302 by my ILR appointment date. I have attached my 3 years SA302 only. My ILR has been approved. Case worker didnot even asked a single question regards this. As long as No tax due than No problem.

Did you give any of SA 302's?
Could you please list the document that you have provided
Many thanks in advance

Hi krish,
Basd on the link to the other post u say you applied for tier 1 in april 2011 where u showed 18k as salaried employment and 18k as self employment. But at the time of applying you did not draw any dividend or salary for the 18k self employment. But u withdrew in November 2011 after u got your Tier 1.
So how did HO accept your 18k self employment earnings when you have not withdrwn it at all. never knew this is even possible.

Yes they accepted because i earned during that period and retained the income in my company itself.
So I am eligible by points.
