Hi there,

My ILR application was refused, and i have to apply for admin review by 21st of march.

I just want to know how can i stay legally until 24 august (10 years on 20/09/2016), so that i can apply for ILR under 10 years.

I have been advised to re-apply ILR as postal application before 21/03/16 and hope they do not act on it ASAP and i withdraw the application.

or

Apply for admin review, and then apply for FLR (O) and if rejected apply under FLR(FP) to drag time.

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks

What was the reason for the refusal? Next course of action would certainly depend on the reason why the ILR was refused?

Paragraph 322(5) under the General Grounds for Refusal of the Immigration Rules

So why does HO think you are undesirable because of your character or a threat to national security? Any convictions, deception, etc in the past?

Long residence won't stop HO checking all of the same stuff again and you risk facing another refusal. It is misconception that ILR LR is a safe option and ONLY based on 10 years residence.
