Hi

First of all, thanks to everyone on the forum who have helped me in the past, you guys are amazing.

I am hoping to apply for my ILR very soon (next couple days) based on long residence. I arrived in UK on the 20th of Sep 2005 and have been living here legally since.

The following is the documentation I'm intending to send, I would really appreciate another pair of eyes double checking this.

SET (LR) application form - Mar 2016 version
Both passports (covering my visas for the 10 year period)
Biometric Residence Permit
2 Passport sized photographs with name on the back
Life in UK test Pass
Degree certificate and print out from points based calculator (for English Language requirement)

That's it! It feels like fewer documents than usual. Do I need send anything like
a) bank statements
b) tenancy agreements
c) letter from employer, etc....

History
4 years on student visa
2 years PSW
4.5 years (currently) Tier 2 (General)

Not needed. These documents would only be required if you DO NOT have all the passports, including the one you entered the UK with, covering the full 10 years.

When are you applying for ILR, the exact date and in person or postal?

PBS calculator will no longer be accepted after 5th April and you will be required to get an ELA UK NARIC assessment.

Thanks CR001 for the quick reply.

I was intending to apply tomorrow, 24th of March.
Applying by post.

Thanks for the info, didn't know about the changes due on the 5th of April.

Also, is there a thread that gives timelines for SET (LR) applications?

There is the thread below, but has become more of a discussion thread than timelines.

http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefi ... 22700.html

Set(LR) takes between 3 and 9 months if no issues with your immigration history.

Applying in person would obviously be quicker but costs more.

Are you using the most updated form as the fees in creased last week?

Hey, thanks for the link.

Yeah I'm using the March 2016 version. Costs 1875 rather than 1500 now!

Just one other thing. Will I need to give my biometrics again? When do I need to do this, will I be told when to?

Thanks

Congratulations on your ILR!

Did you provide your travel timeline to the HO? How did they count the number of days you've spent outside of the UK?

Cheers

Do I need anything for my degree completed in UK from a UK university?

This link is not clear.
