Dear All,

I had my ilr (5 year route) appointment at crydon. I hired soliciter for the appointment and once my number was called finally they have said my application has been processed and by giving the documents they asked me to sign a form by checking my details. Out of my excitement i havent read the form and by checking my name and other basic details i signed the form.

Now i cant reach my soliter to check my ilr is approved. However i got all documents back but not my previous BRP. When asked i was said thay i will get it on post. Does this mean i got ILR or i didnt?

Also there this one letter soliciter kept for herself and i am not sure if that is approval letter :(
I blame myself for beeing so excited !!! :(

Any information will really make me feel happy .

Thanks

Apologies, I have no idea why so many members think everyone is applying under Tier 1 General, as if that is the only visa category leading to ILR

yes it has been approved. The letter they ask you to sign is to confirm details that will appear on the BRP card. You should get this in 7 working days.

You should be more careful when signing forms from the Home office. Paragraph 4(b)(iv) states that you consent to your soul being sold to the Devil, with the Home Office keeping the proceeds.

Congratulations on your ILR.

Hi Dhruv,

Thanks for your response. :)

Please could i ask you last 1 question what did you fill in question 7:13

Set (O) form – point 7.13 How long you have lived in the UK – Should I put only my stay under tier 2 here which would be 5years around the time I will apply. This means I am not counting my previous stays in the uk under diffeent visas since feb 2006.

Also 7.14 Please state what ties you have with
1) The country where you were born
2) Any other country whose nationality you hold
3) Any country where you have lived for more then 5 yrs

You should tell us about any family , freinds or other connections with that country

COUNTRY SOCIAL CULTURAL OR FAMILY TIES

what to answer here in the above country & social cultural or family ties column ?

As my family live here and are british citizens for many years. Also i have only general friends ? :?

Thanks dhruv4500.

Was this Tier 2, If yes, what documents did you provide for the question "12P Tier 2 migrant" question (on page 82-83),
For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 2 migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.
Thanks a lot again, appreciate your help!

mjcr28:

7.13 - > I am not sure in your case. In my case its simple as its 5 Year period.
7.14 - > My parents live outside UK so i mentioned it.

heabrar: I applied as tier 2

I am not sure on that point. As long as i remember i havent checked that option.

Thnaks Dhruv. Lastly what about tenancy agreement. Did you provide any as i am paying cash to my friend and dont have an agreement as such.

Theabrar: you question Was this Tier 2, If yes, what documents did you provide for the question "12P Tier 2 migrant" question (on page 82-83),

you have to have it mentioned in your letter that your employer still needs you for the same post and your bank statement and payslips same as 12A
