I have the same situation in which i was a student for 6 years and 4 years as no EU family member, I have no gaps no long holidays, i have never been refused or applied after my visa expired, i have all my wife's documents for last 4 years, my question is: will i be able to apply for ILR based on long residence with mixed immigration status, the application is almost £2000 plus all the solicitor's fees, i do not want to take any risk and i do not know if i have the right to apply so if you please know somebody who went through the same or you have had the same experience, please reply to me or guide me
I would really appreciate your contribution amd help in answering my query.

Yes, you can apply but you have to provide all the documents of your EU sponsor for the 4 years you have been in the EEA category.

You can apply in person for same day decision or by post. By post can take many months.

Apply in person then. It costs more but is quicker.

I don't work for HO so cannot comment. But if you have ALL the documents required, it should not be a problem.
