I received a letter below and the Home office guidance for caseworkers state, this letter is sent when a case meets the criteria for deportation. Please advise, worried.
ICD.4208
I am writing to inform you that further enquiries need to be made before a decision can be made on your application for settlement and as such the application has been passed to a team where these enquiries can be carried out.

I applied for ILR (protection) route as my 5 year RLT was coming to an end. I had not received a response from the Home Office for 6 months and when I wrote a letter asking I had not heard from them, I received the ICD.4208 letter mentioned above.

This letter is sent when the application needs further consideration. Looks like ur application has been passed onto the relevant team for consideration. U should shortly hear from HO about the decision.
