10 years ILR route absence query...please help Urgent!

Hi,
I would be eligible to apply for ILR in 2017 based in 10 years long residency route.
I have query based on one of my long absence from UK.
I left UK in 31st December 2015 (boarded flight from UK on 31st Dec 2015) and arrived back to UK on 1st July 2016.
In UKBA 'Long Residence' guidelines, it is mentioned that "For the purpose of calculating time spent outside the UK for the long residence,a month constitutes 30 calendar days". If I consider this statement then my absence comes to 180 days but if I calculate the absence based on the actual number of days in these six months than my absence comes to 181 days. In terms of number of months, I was not absent from UK for more than six months.
Also I believe, date of travel From and To to UK does not count towards absence.
Is my continuous residency broken?
Please advise.
Thanks,
