Hi,

i moved her on a student visa on 21st Sept 2010 and started work in 5th Sept 2011 with my company on the student visa and was moved to the Tier 2 visa on 14th Oct 2011.

I am eligible from Sept 2016 to apply for my ILR, however my company has provided a letter stating i joined 5th Sept 2011 on the Tier 2 visa rather than 14th Oct 2011.

will this cause an issue with the application form?

Also the form asks for my entry into the UK in section 6, which date do i need to mention?

thanks

Your qualifying period starts from the date of your Tier 2 visa being issued.

The start date should be fine, but you were not on Tier 2 at that time.
