Hi,

I was on Tier1 Visa and I've got my ILR. My Wife is also eligible for ILR now but she still needs to prove the English requirement.

Now my question is what If she unable to get the SELT before her Tier 1 dependent Visa Expires. What will happen in that case

- Will she needs to apply for Tier 1 dependent extension?
- Or apply for Visa in some other category?

I like to know How she can still stay in UK after her Visa expire if she unable to get the SELT certificate by than?

Can someone please help me with this query.

Regards
Atif

The exam is extremely easy. It is talking only at quite a basic level.

Has she passed the Life in the UK test? If she's managed to do that, B1 level English shouldn't be a problem for her. Or is it simply that she's left it late?
