Hi All,
I am going to apply for ILR and my wife as my dependent in Nov 16. I just want to know about cohabitation documents. We just got documents from March 2015 and havent got any document for Nov 14. My question is if I ask our bank to give us the statement of Nov 14 will that be a valid document given the fact its print date is of april 2016. Also is 3 different sources can be 3 different banks like, TSB, HAlifax & LLoyds or does it have to be completely different authorities.
Please let me know.

Through which route are you applying for ILR (5 years or 10 years)?
What is your wife's current visa status?

Hi
I am on tier 2 general since November 2011 and my wife is my dependent since then. So will be applying 5 year tier 2 route. We last granted leave in Oct 2013.

Your first post is confusing. Are you applying for ILR for your wife or ILR Dependent (i.e spouse visa on FLR-M)?

ILR is ILR. It is not ILR Dependent, which implies a spouse visa for 2.5 years on FLR(M).
Once she has ILR, she is NOT dependent on you any more.
You need the cohabitation documents in either name or joint names covering 2 years. What have you submitted before for extensions?

We both came to UK in September 2008 on student visa but we was not married. We both got 2 year post study work visa independently in Jan 2010. Then we got married in Feb 2011. Then I got tier 2 general in Oct 2011 and she got my tier 2 dependent in Nov 2011. Then I renewed my tier 2 in oct2013 and her tier 2 dependent at same time. So basically I am eligible for ilr in Oct 2016 and she in Nov 2016. I thought we both will apply ilr in nov2016 using set o I as main applicant and she as my dependent.

Yes, but you will need more than just bank statements.
Anything correspondence such as HMRC letters, Job Centre Letters, NHS letters, Sky TV invoice/letters, mobile phone invoices, water and other utilities, council tax etc etc

I got lots of letters in our joint names from Mar 15 just don't have 1 for Nov 14. We got 2 joint bank accounts. Shall I ask both banks to get the statement of nov14. Below are list of docs I got
Mar 15 council tax in joint names
April 15 bank letter in my name
May 15 bank letter in my wife name
Sep 15 my wife hospital letter
Nov 15 my wife hospital letter
Mar 16 council tax in both names

Do you have any for Nov 14 in individual names?
Otherwise do the bank statements.

No none but as I mentioned can get joint bank statement. I just asked my landlord to provide me a tenancy agreement in both of our names from Nov 14 but it will be a private agreement not with agency. Will that be fine?

Tenancy agreement will help.
What about your following:
1. marriage certificate
2. Do you have children? if Yes, then their Birth Certificates
3. Letters from Home office? You must have received them in Oct 2013 when you renewed your Tier 2 Visa
Hope this helps

Will these suffice? Please let me know As if there is any doubt I'll apply my ilr and then will apply my wife's separately. Please let me know.
Also my child was born in UK and since then he got Indian passport and tier 2 dependent on me and travelled twice with us to India. Can I skip his ilr application and once I got ilr can I use mn1 for him straight away. Or do I have to apply his ilr too?

Hi All,
It would be much appreciated if you please advice me.
Immigration Background
1. I have studied in UK and started working on PSW. Then my employer sponsored me and I switched from PSW(although it still had 2 months remaining) to Tier2 General on 25th October 2011.
2. My wife also studied here and had seperate PSW as we was not married at that time. We got married in Feb 2011 and she switched to my Tier2 dependent on 15 Nov 2011 and she got this Tier 2 dependent visa(basically new Entry Clearence) from India.
3. On 11 Sep 2012, we was blessed with a boy who was born in UK. I got his Indian passport done from London. Then we travelled to India and I got my son Tier 2 dependent visa(new Entry Clearence) done from India on Mar 2013.
Questions
1. Am I eligible to apply for ILR anytime from 28 Sep 2016 and my wife from 19th Oct 2016?
2. Can I apply separately first and then for my wife? For both, I'll be getting it done on same day visa service. So, is there any advantage/disadvantage of applying seperately or together? Also If i want to apply separetly what form I need to use for my wife?
3. Do I need to apply for my son's ILR or will he be eligible for naturalisation after my ILR?
Many thanks in advance

Are you applying for ILR based on tier 2 or on 10 years long residence?
The dates of your wife's visa don't make sense and don't seem consistent with the rest of your posts.

She can apply for ILR with you then if she did not apply for a new entry clearance after July 2012.

No she haven't applied for new entry clearance after 2011. Doesn't she has to complete 5 years residency as my dependent before applying for ILR?
