Queries -- Wife applying for ILR on her own
Posted: Thu Oct 27, 2016 2:15 pm
Hello,
After my ILR visa application , and if successful, I am planning for my wife to apply separately along with child for ILR through premium appointment based on their 5 years stay as PBS dependant.
I have few queries and I would really appreciate if someone can clarify :-
1) My details (e.g. passport number, BRP, test pass confirmation etc. etc.) are not required to be entered anywhere in the SET-O form. Is this corrrect ?
So, does she need to enlcose my ILR visa under a covering letter specifying my details?
2) Under section 5 of the SET-O form, what will be the answer for this "5.3 Are you working in the UK? " -
My wife doesn't work however at the time of applying for ILR she will be working as Christmas Casual worker just for one month between November end to December end.
Does she need to answer "Yes" ? If yes, then that gives a further doubt to me as how to answer "If so, what is your pay each month after income tax and other deductions?"
She will be working one off and only one month.
3) How to answer "5.4 Does a relative or friend of you or your partner, or both of you, regularly give you money?"
For us, only income is my employment salary. We have a joint bank account where my salary gets credited every month and there has never been a need to give her money on a monthly basis.
She has no issue accessing to all the money at anytime - if you know what I mean.
4) Has she to specify my income details against question "5.6 Complete the following table indicating the sources and levels of income as indicated in 5.1 - 5.5 that you and your partner are relying on to adequately maintain you and any dependants." ?
But my name is not getting mentioned in the Partner's details section as I will not be applying with her.
5) What will be right answer for "7.13. How long have you lived in the UK?"
We lived in UK right from 2008 without any absence more than 6 months however our continuous period only starts from 2012 onwards.
So the answer is going to be 8 years or 5 years - not sure.
4) She doens't have of her own so we are planning to use my credit card to pay for the premium visa fees. Can there by any issue with this? e.g. in case my name and not hers appear on the payment confirmation sheet.
Thanks very much in advance to take time to reply.
regards.
