ILR (20+) to NTL on BRP documents

Hi,
I am thinking about transferring ILR on my old passport to NTL on BRP.
Could anyone please advise me about documents?
I was granted ILR back in early 90s as I married a British Citizen. I have all 4 passports since I was granted.
Are passports are sufficient enough?
Some people recommended me to provide other evidence such as council tax bills, utility bills etc. I only have those for last 5 - 10 years, not all 20+. Is it better to provide as much as I can?
Also after 6 years, I divorced, but my family name is still the same. Do I need to provide information about it?
I am thinking of going to premium service centre, as passport is only ID and I don't want to take a risk missing. So I really want my passports back on the day and approved.
Thank you for your help in advance.

Why don't you just apply for British citizenship
directly instead?

I will lose my original citizenship. My parents still arrive and quite old. So if I want to go back to my county for while, I may have problem. And I don't want to send passports for 6 months at this moment. So a only apply NTL.
Any advice for transferring?

If you apply for BC through the NCS you retain your original passport while the application is being considered.

NTL is
not required,
unless you are looking for new
employment or
landlord or you are concerned that the UKVI have/will
delete their record of granting your ILR.
You may submit as much
evidence as you have.

It was foolish of the UK to
abolish exit stamps.
Passports showing UK's entries and other countries' entry and exit stamps are good.
Boarding cards?
If they refuse, then the burden of proof
may be on them.

Luckily on my passports there are some exit stamps until early 1998, hopefully it helps, although I didn't travel much in 1993 & 1994.
I might ask Banks if they can provide anything to prove my accounts were active since early 90s.

Section 6 of the NTL application
form form gives some examples and suggestions for the documents.

Part from 4 passports on list A, I have nothing on list B left to prove living here over 20 years ago. And I guess not many people have all bills over 20 years. That's why I asked if anyone had same issues and what they provided to home office.
I hope passports are sufficient enough, but HO recommended me to provide everything I can.
Also I have a copy of HO letter confirming my ILR, but the original letter was lost during a job interview over 15 years ago.
Another issue is that I divorced late 90s, I am not sure if it affects HO decision.

Concentrate on showing that you haven't been absent from the UK for a continuous period of two years. If they want to refuse, then I
think they have more of the burden of proof.

I hope all passports are sufficient enough to prove that I haven't been out of the UK more than 1 month.
HO should have all record of entries.
But I really want to make sure that I have been here with additional documents.

Hi,
I was granted ILR over 20 years ago, and have never taken Life in the UK test.
Can anyone confirm if I need to take Life in the UK test before transferring ILR to NTL on BRC?
Thanks in advance!

No you don't.
But you will need LIUK and English B1 (if not from English exempt country) if you wish to apply for British Citizenship.

Can anyone help me?
I divorced 5 years after I was granted ILR. But my name is still the same as I married, and it is on my current and last 3 passports.
Do I need to fill Section 1.19 'Ohter'?
