Hi,

My ILR appeal hearing is tomorrow 10am. I have just phoned the Tribunal and been told that my request to adjurn due to medical reasons was refused.

I sent them a letter stating I could not attend the hearing together with a doctor's note signed off sick from work due to stress/ anxiety until 14th of Nov.

This is the first time I am looking to adjurn. I have no legal representation whatsover. I phoned someone and they advised to just fax them urgently in the morning and state again that I cannot attend.

I am very scared the hearing goes ahead in my absence or that they might think I am abandoning the appeal.

Please, please guys, could you advise me what to do as I am having a complete mental breakdown :( :( :(

Relax.
Breathe.
Fax concerned contact person first thing in the morning. OR send a letter by guaranteed delivery.

I was told my an immigration advisor that I just phoned that they're unlikely to adjurn tomorrow, if they already said no just because I'm faxing them. I was told the hearing would go ahead without me so I better be there to actually explain my case. :( :(

I have received a letter from the Tribunal.

Application Refused : There is no reason to adjourn.
