UK Born Child -British Citizenship

Dear Expers,
I recently got my ILR in Oct 2016. My Son born in UK in March 2016. I have got his uk birth certificate.
My wife is yet to apply for her ILR shortly in a month or two.
My question is:
1> Can I apply for British citizenship for my son without waiting for my wife to get ILR?
2>How do I apply for the my son's Citizenship [application procedure and relevant link with right form/weblink is appreciable]
3> Documents required?
