Hi,

I was on Tier 2 General until yesterday and got my ILR approved. Now, i need to apply ILR for my spouse who is on Tier 2 General Dependent. She has been living in the UK from Apr 2012 which means she is eligible for 2 year period. The question i have is what category my spouse fall under? Tier 2 general dependent (or) ILR dependent?

Please could someone clarify? Thanks in advance.

If she holds a current Tier 2 dependent visa, this is the only category she qualifies for ILR in.

Why do you think it is anything else if she does not hold the 'ILR dependent' visa.

Then the only form she can apply on for ILR is Set(O)
