Dear respected moderators ,Gurus and all the other contributors,

Appreciate if you could provide your opinion to my below query:

I have been in UK for the last 8 years on various visa categories. Currently I am on T2 general and have been made redundant and my last day of work will be 27th of February. I am actively looking for a sponsor who will take me on board and help me to switch jobs however worst come to the worst I am also exploring other avenues to continue my stay in UK till I complete my 10-year term which will be in Dec 2018.

My immigration history since Dec 2008:

Work holiday 1 year and 3 months
T4 General(Student) 1 year and 4 months (completed MBA)
PSW 2 years
T2 General- 3 years and 5 months(as at Dec 16)

Option (worst case)- Switch to T4 in June 17 for 2-year DBA course.

I would like to know whether I will qualify for the 10-year route ILR with the above immigration history provided I get the T4 switch in June 17?

Appreciate your help and advice in advance.
Noor

If you successfully switch to cover the ten years, then you should be okay to apply under Long Residence, when eligible.
