35k - on call hours

Hi there,
This question is regarding applying for the ILR after completing 5 years on a TIER 2 visa route.
I'm soon to complete those 5 years, but my annual salary is little over 34K, hence not matching the 35K condition.
My questions are...
Can I take up some on-call work - which employer is ready to give me on a regular basis, but cannot increase my salary due to equality of pay etc - to meet the 35K mark?
