Hi,
I need advice for application of my son for ILR. My son is 5.5 years old, born in India. Me and my wife are already on ILR for last 1 year. My son's visa status is Tier 1 dependant valid till Feb,2018 .I was on Tier 1 originally.

My wife is claiming child benefit or my son(just started few months back) . I called UK BA and asked them who should be sponsor in application me or my wife. they told that it should be me as my son's visa status is Tier 1 dependent and I was on Tier 1 visa originally , not my wife.
So in the SET(F) form there is two questions :- 3.10 Is your sponsor receiving any
public funds? and 3.11 Are you receiving any public funds? I am confused as my wife is getting child benefit not me so what should I mention here ? & also does child gets the child benefit or is it parents ? Also getting benefits does it have any affect on ILR application for my son ?

That question applies to the child applicant who is not claiming benefit, rather than the parents who are.

It therefore has to be answered in the negative.
