SOC 2119 ILR application phd level SOC

Hi All
I am currently on tier 2 general and will complete my 5 years on 24Mar2017. my current salary is 29k. My SOC falls under phd level occupation. Do I have to meet this 35k threshold?

On the website it does say that PHD codes are exempted but I want to confirm from gurus or people who had their ILR sucessfull under this code or anyother phd level SOC.


Tier 2 history:
Applied for Tier 2 in March via post (my PSW was still valid until Aug2012)and received Tier 2 visa until 01-Apr-2015
COS issued for initial application was 'Associate, Safety, Drug' is defined as SOC code 2321 - Scientific Researcher (under ‘section M: Professional, scientific and technical activities’ of the SOC 2000)
2) Applied for Tier 2 extension via premium service and received visa until 16-Apr-2018
COS issued was 2219 Natural and social science professionals not elsewhere classified. This cos was bases on SOC 2010 as the cos 2321 was merged into 2119.
Job title on COS – Drug Safety Associate 2
Sumary of job description on COS - Provides management of individual case safety reports (SAEs, ADRs, AEs of special interest and other types),
reconciliation of SAEs, coding and data retrievals
from the safety database. Supports the generation
of aggregated safety reports, and Data Monitoring
Committees (DMC) reviews.
Salary mentioned on COS- 27000


Current salary – 29000 GBP

You do not need to meet the 35K threshold

There was a case where UKBA refused visa for SOC 2119:

I am bit worried if they will apply same rule. IT appears that UKBA has their own interpretation of the rules.

Did you got your ILR throught.

I hope you got it done.
I am still talking to barristers and lawyers and made a formal complain to UK BA.

please can you let me know if UK border agency accepted your application and exempted you from 35 k salary.
