All,

Some lawyers offer legal representation for same day service, other don't arguing that it is not necessary.

What do they mean by legal representation? Do they answer questions on our behalf? Do their presence make applicant case more credible in the eyes of the caseworker?

Final question please: I have had a bad experience with an immigration lawyer (regulated by OISC). After i made payment, i found it very hard to get his attention. I also saw mistakes in the application form.

Whats the best way to choose an immigration lawyer?

Thanks a lot

What do they mean by legal representation? It would be a lawyer or immigration advisor.

Do they answer questions on our behalf? No, HO will still ask the applicant if they have any questions.

Do their presence make applicant case more credible in the eyes of the caseworker? No, it has no effect on the application other than making the applicant poorer for paying lawyer fees.

Final question please: I have had a bad experience with an immigration lawyer (regulated by OISC). After i made payment, i found it very hard to get his attention. I also saw mistakes in the application form.

Whats the best way to choose an immigration lawyer? There is not best way to choose. It is easy to become an OISC advisor, it is a one day course for Level 1. Free help on the forum.

Thanks a lot
