Hi,

i hope someone can help me as im going to apply ILR 10 years long residence same day service in 2 months but im a bit confused about applying time. i have been kept searching at home office website that i can apply 28 days before my qualifying period completed. my visa granted 24th of may 2007 and i came arrived uk 28th of may.my 10 years completing period finishes according to what i read at home office website on 24th of may 2017. my question is can i apply 28 days before which is 27th of april to ILR long residence? i spoke 2 different solicitors one said you cant apply you have to complete 10 years then you can apply. other one said you can apply but i dont suggest you to apply as it would be a bit risky. after these experience with them i am a bit confused. Please can someone had any experience like that before or someone can help me.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi

Many of my friends applied within 28 days

And they got ilr
It's not a problem if you apply with 28 days not more then 28 days

Do you know what did they answer the question How long have you live in uk? as i will not be completed 10 years if i apply 28 days before. Did they write 10 year or 9 years 11 month

Yes they write in the form 9 years 11 months

Don't apply 28 days before apply with in 28 days
Rules says with in 28 days not before 28 days
