ILR application - long residence

Hi
I am applying for my ILR on long residence route however I have two questions:

My English test B1 from trinity college expires on 17th April 2017(according to HO website it's only valid for 2 years). Will it be accepted If I send my application via post on 13th April or do O have to book the test again? I have used the same test for my last visa extension(ILR dependent).

During my 10 years stay in UK I have one entry clearance from home country. It was applied during my previous visa for U.K. Was still valid and I stayed out of country for only 44 days to get a new visa entry.

Advise from the group will be highly appreciated.

Apologies my second question is if new entry clearance breaks the continuous residence rule?

If you left the UK with valid visa and returned with another valid visa within 180 days, then you will be fine.

Thank you very much and will home office accept my B1 English test if I post this week? The date on test is 23 April 2015.
