My husband got ILR with premium service the same day in first week of march by varying his application from Tier1 dependent to ILR (LR). He still have not got his passports back. Premium service people told him that he will get his passports back in a weak. After 2 weeks he called to HO and they recommended to wait for one more week. Now they advise him to request return of documents by sending them some form. The form they recommended to use is for withdrawing application while he had varied application.
1: Is it the way to get your documents back for varied application? Will they refund old application fee, How?
2: We have applied for kids British registration on 30th March. I need them for some identification proof. Can i get their passports back too? How?

There is a section on form as:
Record number
This is the number you were given when you completed the return of documents request form.


This number is allocated when one withdraw application and ask for returning documents. Is not it?
Should i request for withdrawing my kids application if i am requesting their passports back? As we cannot vary application to British registration. Am i right?

Why did you not use NCS for the kids BC application. Unlikely HO will return the passports for the kids while their BC application is in process.

I used NCS for joint citizenship and passport application service. I provided kids passports photocopies to them as original were with HO already.
