UK Ancestry to ILR help

I'm in the UK from Canada on an Ancestry Visa applying for ILR soon.

I am putting together the documents I have that I used to gain my Ancestry Visa, with the ancestry being linked to my Grandfather through my mother's family. I have noticed that on my parents marriage certificate my mother's maiden name is not used, but rather her previous married name, however, her maiden name was used on all other certificates. Their marriage registration doesn't help me either.

Has anyone else had a situation where a marriage or other certificate had a previous married name being used? Will this be an issue? It was her official surname at the time of my parents marriage, but I don't have that previous marriage certificate to prove the different name. To note, she has two middle names which does make her name very particular, if that helps at all.

Any details/advice/similar situation would help!

It is fine. If it was used for your Ancestry visa originally it will be accepted for ILR.

It also has nothing to do with a previous marriage but simply proving the Ancestry link : Grandfather / Mother / you.

Thanks for the response.

Surely the ancestry link is also tracked via the surname, if surnames didn't matter then the whole process would be useless. To clarify her maiden name is on my birth certificate, and her birth certificate, but is completely different on her marriage certificate, which is why I was hoping if anyone that has also applied with a similar circumstance would know if this would be an issue.
